Who we are
Etnia Peru combines the production and sale of surf accessories and the Etnia Peru Surf School.
The Etnia Peru Surf School has more than 12 years of experience teaching surfing.
Our mission is to develop, educate and promote the sport of surfing as a lifestyle linked to nature and ecological awareness as well as to strengthen self-confidence and self-esteem. We believe that surfing is a complete sport, with many health benefits that can be learnt by adults, youth and children and helps to improve the quality of life.
Our Staff
Our teachers are accredited by the National Surf Federation and each year they are trained by the Peruvian Navy in rescue techniques in open waters.

... was born in Bavaria but raised in the swiss alps. Used to play hockey but always had that dream of surfing in his head. In 2016 went to Costa Rica for 8 months to learn spanish and to start with surfing. In summer 2017 he worked for a surfcamp providers in France where he also absolved the ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor... más

Oliver
...called Oli, is a Swiss student based in Bern. He likes to play with his drone and his camera, enjoys music and tries to ride the best waves around the world. Oli is part of the team and will make sure to take videos and photos of the best waves of our students.
Stéphanie
... is from Switzerland. She discovered the passion for surfing several years back. As a landlocked country, surfing was not always possible. But as Switzerland has beautiful lakes, Wakesurf was a perfect alternative for Stéphanie until se decided to leave everything behind in Switzerland and to move to the ocean. She just arrived from Nicaragua to help us as beach marshall and instructor
Cristian
...is professional lifeguard and a law student He has lots of experience in teaching beginners. With his patience and good humor he makes learning to surf fun.
Ricardo
...known as Chino Richi, has been working as a surf instructor since 2011. Richi is a local of Redondo and Punta Roquitas on the Costa Verde. He is specialized in beginners and intermediates. . With his calm character, the students feel safe with him at all times in the ocean.
Lessons

Our lessons are personalized. We emphasize on individual learning for each of our students. Our beginners receive special attention in small groups to be able to respond to their needs.
Our lessons include complete surfing equipment (surfboard, wetsuit, leash, rashguard). The lessons begin with a warm-up and theoretical instruction for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Surftrips
​
We offer surftrips for one or more days to the Southern Peru (Punta Hermosa, Punta Rocas, San Bartolo, Puerto Viejo, Cerro Azul) and Northern Peru (Centinela, Bermejo, Huanchaco, Chicama), depending on the surfing level of the participants and the condition of the waves.
